02/10/2010 My first visit to The Loup and was pleasantly surprised by the great snow conditions. The coverage was great with dry, untracked found through the trees. All runs were well groomed and snow very carvable. The small ski area vibe was a nice change from the corporate resorts I've been used to. Temps all day ranged from 25-28 degrees with partly cloudy skies. It is a smaller resort but IMO well worth the trip. The best snow conditions I've been on all year where I finally got to ride in a bit of powder.
